Its Cork Craft month again already! This year I am delighted to have been asked to take place in the showcase exhibition “Turn to the Ordinary". It is "an exhibition which highlights the poetics of the everyday."
My work for this exhibition is an expression of the everyday experience in rural Ireland, a landscape of green fields and grey clouds. I am lucky to live in a place where beautiful ancient standing stones are a constant reminder of our past, a connection to the everyday lives of people who lived long before us, and who's monuments will stand long after we are gone.
You can check out whats going on where in the Cork Craft Month programme.
